Due to the various methods that can be used
to create and/or convert images between formats, some image formats cannot
be correctly analyzed. On rare occasions these hybrid image files can cause
the Digital Expert Online Service to become non-responsive.
Other image formats that may become problematic are some EPS and PDF files.
Some office formats (extensions such as .doc, .xls, and .ppt) have also been
found to halt the service.
If you have submitted images for checking and after an extended
period of time your report is still not ready, please DO NOT resubmit your
images. If the system has halted, re-submissions will only delay your report
from becoming available. Contact Sheridan as soon as possible and include
report ID number (example = tsg_onl4653421). We will make all efforts to
post your report as soon as possible. Some reports may not be available
for those images which cause processing to halt.
